Hi I'm Nicole

I'm a stay-at-home mommy to two adorable children. I've been to 5 countries and 17 states in the US. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love being a mommy to my two kids, and it takes most of my time. When I do have a little time to myself, I enjoy reading, and creating things. I used to run a lot before I had children, and I hope to renew my love for it this summer. My hubby (husband as the normal people would call it) is going to school to become a Civil Engineer which keeps him very busy. We are excited for graduation, but that's not for another couple years. I studied abroad in Spain when I was in college, and helped at an orphanage in Haiti when I was in High School. When I'm old and a millionaire, I want to travel lots more!

Why I am a Mormon

Well, I grew up in an active LDS family. I am the second oldest of 8 (yes, EIGHT) children, three of which are adopted. My mom and dad instilled in me the value of high standards and morals and always encouraged me to be active in my faith. When I was about 14, I decided I needed to find out for myself if the church was true. I fasted and prayed many times. It was not a decision I was willing to take lightly. My salvation was at stake after all! After months of prayer and fasting, the Holy Ghost bore witness to my heart and soul that Heavenly Fathers church was real, true, and complete. I knew the proper priesthood authority was on the earth, and that the Church of Jesus Christ of Later-Day Saints held that authority. I know now even more than when I was 14 that God lives and loves me. His Son, Jesus Christ died for ME. His Atonement is real, and it is personal. Joseph Smith saw an angel, and translated the Book of Mormon. The Book of Mormon is another witness of Jesus Christ, and is the most correct book of any other book on the earth. I know that families are forever. I am forever indebted to my Heavenly Father for his grace, his love, and his charity.

How I live my faith

I love going to church on Sunday. Besides my home, it is my refuge from the world. I love feeling the Holy Spirit in the house of the Lord. I love going to as many church activities as I can, and creating new friendships with fellow ward members. Its great to be able to serve other members of the ward, be it preparing meals, tending children, or attending the temple together.
