Hi I'm Marilyn

I grew up in Utah. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been married for 25 years, and we have been blessed with five fabulous children. My husband and I built a home around the corner from my parents' home and live across the street from my sister and down the street from some of my brothers. Family is important to me. I enjoy watching my children play sports, walking with my sister, reading, and riding the Harley with my husband.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints my whole life. At some point I had to decide that the Church was true for myself and not just because my parents believed it. I know that the Book of Mormon is true and I love reading it. Taking time to read the scriptures every day is something I have worked hard at and have really been blessed by doing that. I am a Mormon because it makes me and my family happy.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending church meetings on Sunday and helping those around me whenever I have the opportunity. I am currently working with the Webelos Cub Scouts and am busy planning camp for our young women. I believe that being a Mormon is who I am and not just what I do on Sunday. Being a member of the LDS Church is busy but so worth the time. There are many blessings and opportunities that come my way because of the Gospel in my life.
