Hi I'm Doriana.

I am a mother of two wonderful young single adults, and a wife. I am a fan of the true meaning of family life, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been an Elementary teacher all my life- either full time teacher or substitute. Lately I am interested in real estate business. My passion is helping people /mostly my loved ones/ to understand themselves and the happenings in their lives better.I like chatting with friends the same way I enjoy philosophical or spiritual conversations. Spending quality time with family members and having together good laughter is enlightening. I get positively charged by walking and observing the nature; reading good books that make me think, watching a nice movie that helps me learn something, by taking care of a garden with flowers or vegetables ,or just by meditating. I love uplifting music as well as music that makes me dance. Most of my life I have had a cat at home -they are dear to my soul. My inborn sense of beauty and harmony helps me create pleasant atmosphere for myself and anybody who is with me wherever we are. I just love the life with all it's ups and downs, blessings and trials!

Why I am a Mormon

I have always felt there is something more in existence than this life. I have felt there is a greater power in the Universe than our brain and will. Now I know it is God, who is my Heavenly Father and the creator of my spirit. Now I know I have a personal Savior who is Jesus Christ and who is my friend , example and redeemer. I know Christ suffered and died so I can have the chance to repent, to follow Him and perfect myself to max possible in this life. Through the Atonement of Jesus Christ I can live with Him , with God and my family forever . I learned all this from the Church of Jesus Christ Of-Latter-Day-Saints. It's doctrine is the Gospel of Christ and is the most beautiful teaching. Getting baptized in the Church was maybe the most important decision in my life- a choice with eternal consequences. I am grateful to my brother who showed me the way , and to the missionaries who taught me.

How I live my faith

Whatever I do, wherever I go , I remember I am a Mormon, and as such I am a witness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I try to make daily choices that will make me a good example of a Christian. All callings I have had in the Church have taught me wonderful lessons, have helped me to discover hidden talents and abilities inside me, and have blessed me with opportunities to serve others. I have had callings in all levels in Relief Society /adult women/, Young Women /12-18 y.o./, Nursery and Chorister in Primary. Visiting teaching is one of my favorites!:) I have learned to be obedient, consistent, faithful, helpful, merciful, compassionate and to never complain. People notice I live healthy style with high moral standards ,and if I get asked about it , I tell them I am a Mormon.
