Hi I'm Kristy

I grew up in North Carolina. I love to craft and create. I'm a wife and mother. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I have been blessed with parents who have taught me the gospel from the beginning and have lived their lives as an example to me. I went through my fair share of rough experiences but have always been able to land on my feet through my Savior Jesus Christ. I am married to a wonderful husband and priesthood holder. We have been blessed with 4 amazing children who we are currently raising to be examples of our faith. I have read the Book of Mormon in it's entirety and am thankful for the truth that it brings. I know the words of this book are true and am grateful that I can share them with everyone and anyone.

Why I am a Mormon

I have tried living my life in both directions. We have been counseled that we can "live in the world but not of the world." This is such a true statement. Whenever I have tried to live my life with little church involvement, my life has felt empty. I know that my Savior has put this church here, on this earth, for us to learn and grow. We are here to become more like Him. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has brought more joy into my life then any other "thing" that this world has to offer.

How I live my faith

I am currently learning to serve the women in church. My calling involves planning activities, teaching a lesson when asked, and helping uplift and support the women who are in need. I am also a visiting teacher where I am able to visit with the women and share a spiritual message and also serve them when in need. I also teach my children what we believe every night through scripture study and praying as a family. We also have Family Home Evening each Monday night where we have lessons that apply to our family.
