Hi I'm Kyle Forsyth

I love living the adventure we call life to the very fullest! I'm an artist, I'm a Mormon

About Me

I'm an artist, I love music, drawing, sculpting and creating things that no one else has created. I love spending time in nature with friends. I love serving others and bringing out the best in people around me. My all time favorite activity is spending time with the people that matter the most to me and are great examples in my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I know without a doubt it's true. I was raised going to church and attending church activities. I questioned this faith constantly. I soon found myself wanting to know for surety if it was true so I started living what I was being taught and putting forth real effort. I realized I was becoming happier and I started growing a real relationship with my Father in Heaven, through prayer and experiencing His mercy in my life. I promised God that if this was His church to please let me know and I would keep devoting my time and energy to serving in it. I got my answer almost immediately and ever since I've done my best to keep that promise. The most peace I have ever felt in my life is when I have lived in accordance to Christ's Standards revealed through the prophets of His Church. I've found so much relief knowing that God doesn't expect us to become perfect all at once but he expects us to try our very best to change our lives one day at a time. Through Christ's restored Gospel I've learned that God loves all of His children no matter what race, or sex we are, and he has provided us with a way that we can all return to live with Him again. By following the example of Jesus Christ and doing all that He has commanded us to do and relying on His Grace to make up for our imperfections and mistakes. We must do what He asked the rich man to do, to give up all that we have and come follow Him. When Christ suffered in the Garden of Gethsemane, He said not my will but thine be done. He was able to ascend unto the Father because He did what His Father asked. If we are not willing to submit to live His commandments then how can we expect Him to raise us up at the last day. I know that this Church is Christ's church, restored on earth because I've lived it. I know Joseph Smith was a true and living Prophet because I've read the Book of Mormon and prayed about it sincerely. God let me know it's true. And God never lies.

How I live my faith

I've held many callings in the church in my youth. I'm currently serving a full time mission in Toronto, Canada. I love how many opportunities I find to serve my God and his children with His gospel. I feel really humbled to know that the Lord has trusted me enough to hold the priesthood which is the power and authority to act and serve others in God's name. It's amazing that God doesn't want any of His children left behind and that's why He wants us to serve and care for each other. One of the best ways I've been able to serve others is by home teaching, which is looking after some of God's children and serving them so they can remain strong in this life, continually relying on Jesus Christ's atonement and teachings. I love how this church teaches that women and men are equals. And that the role of a mother and a father are the up most important role we can have in this world.
