Hi I'm Tracie

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a daughter, sister, wife, mother, & aunt. I graduated from University of Utah (GO UTES) and my husband got a job as a hydrogeologist on the East Coast. We reluctantly moved away from family and friends to start fresh. I quit my job about a year ago to be a stay at home mom. Even though my son is in school all day it's been a wonderful experience and i love it! Our son just turned 8 and was baptized this weekend. What a memorable weekend it was!

Why I am a Mormon

We are Mormons because it's not just a Sunday religion but a lifestyle. It helps us be better people and strive to return to our Heavenly Father. Our family can be Eternal if we continue to keep the commandments and choose daily to be righteous. Who doesn't want to be with their family forever? isn't that the point of it all? I know where i came from and where i will go after this life. I find peace in that knoweldge and need the help from the Holy Ghost to help me get there. This church is TRUE and i'm so thankful and proud to be a member.

How I live my faith

We live our faith one day at a time. We ask for guidance and help from a loving Heavenly Father and strive to keep the evils of the world out of our home. It's certainly not easy but we try and keep our foundation of faith and gospel principles strong. We go to church each week and renew our covenants we made at baptism, we have family prayer and strive for daily scripture study. Plus we have fun and try to be happy. Currently my husband is Elder's Quorum President (works with the Men in our ward) and i'm in the Primary (work with the kids). Since i am home during the day i sometimes get to join the Elder's on their investigator visits. We don't get paid for the amount of service we give. It's all acts of love and we are happy to help wherever we are needed.
