Hi I'm Rebecca

I have an amazing husband who is in medical school. I love being a mother to our two beautiful little girls. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a young mother of a three-year-old girl and a one-year-old girl. I love that I get to stay home with them each day. It brings me so much happiness to be with my family. I must say that having two young children has taught me to have greater patience and I'm still working on it. My girls teach me a lot. I met my husband in college and he won me over pretty quick. This year will be our seven year wedding anniversary. He just started his final year of medical school. I graduated with my Bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation. I enjoy running and other sports and outdoor activities. I absolutely love chocolate and desserts, and I"ll admit that I make it my dinner sometimes. I grew up on the east coast with four older sisters and one younger brother.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born to an amazing mother and father who love the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. My parents are members of the LDS faith so I have been taught it throughout my life. Though I was raised in the church, I still needed to decided for myself that it is the true church. I did not begin my life with a strong testimony, but it is something I have cultivated and grown throughout my life. I am still working to strengthen my testimony. I am a mormon because I know that the gospel my parents so faithfully taught me is true. I know that my Heavenly Father and His Son Jesus Christ are real. I know that they love me and each and every one of us. I know this through prayer and feeling the holy spirit. I see the Lord's hand in my life everyday and there is no doubt in my mind that he is the almighty God. I'm a mormon because I have felt immense joy and happiness when I follow my Heavenly Father and His teachings. I know that the scripture in the Book of Mormon are inspired by the Lord. I have felt his love and comfort as I read them. I am a mormon because I want to be with my family forever and I know that I can by living the gospel.

How I live my faith

I strive to live my faith everyday. I live my faith individually, with my family, with my local church group, and in other ways that I can. I try my best to teach my girls what is right in the eyes of the Lord. I want them to know that their Father in Heaven and Savior Jesus Christ love them. I want them to understand the happiness they will have in their life when they follow God's teachings. I know that families can be together for all eternity and I am so thankful to know that I can. My husband and I work together to live our faith by praying and reading the Book of Mormon together each day. I live my faith in my local church group by working with the youth girls. There are many ways to live my faith and there are always opportunities for service. I hope to do better for I know I have a lot to improve on.
