Hi I'm Benji

I'm a fun loving, gun toting, God fearing, low maintenance, outdoor enthusiast, rock hound. Living the dream one day at a time!

About Me

If someone only had a few words to describe who I am, I would tell them to choose wisely. If I had to guess what they would say, these would be their words: College Student, Nature Enthusiast, Mr. Geology, Wise Guy, Teddy Bear, and the little boy scout who is always prepared. Not much to say, but it says it all. I'm currently living life to the fullest in Provo Utah, studying as a full time student at Brigham Young University. I like to consider myself an aspiring geologist, with big ambitions.

Why I am a Mormon

Why Not be a mormon? If we had to look at it logically, and in a selfish way, what church out there has more benefits for me and my family? There is no Church that compares to the mormon church. Its youth programs, family standards, and worship services are exactly what i want, and need in my life. Just like everything in life, what you put in is what your going to get out of it. This just might be the only exception to the rule. God won't let us give a crumb without receiving a loaf in return. that exactly how it is in the church. We give a very small portion and in return we receive all that the Father has. That to me sounds like a good bargin. I'm a mormon because out of all the religions i've studied, this one has the best of everything for me.

How I live my faith

I live my faith, by living it. one of my close friends said " you don't become a baker, by going to a bakery. You don't become a Christian by going to church. You become a baker, by baking bread, same with becoming Christian. Doing the things Christ would do" What does this mean? Be nice to people. Live how you want to be treated. make the world a better place, one moment at a time. Smile to everyone around you, unless it makes you look creepy. Serve those in need. Give freely of your time, energy, and substance. Dedicate your will to the Lord, and let him direct you to where He needs you the most. After all, He knows everything.
