Hi I'm Kim Joshua Solorio

I love soccer, I Love my family, they are the world to me, I'm also a Missionary right now, and of course, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hmm... some things about me? Well I attended Weber State in Utah for a year before starting my LDS mission in Pocatello, ID! I Love every single moment of it. I hope to be able to come back and study to be a Neurosurgeon, or a ER surgeon. I am a guy who likes to laugh and I enjoy playing all kinds of sports, even though I might not be the best at all of them.. hahah. Soccer is by far my favorite and I plan to play for BYU when I get home! I love my family, I'm Hispanic, and my family is the world to me. I like hanging out with my buds and being able to just relax. I did live in mexico for about 10 years before coming to the states, and I see how blessed I am to be here in the states. I hope to be able to find my eternal companion and get married in the San Diego Temple to my best friend.

Why I am a Mormon

Well me and my family have gone through some pretty hard trials. We have been moving all over the states and mexico to see were we feel like home is. And just like everyone, we had trials. I didn't get converted to the gospel unti I turned 17 years old. I began to question my own religion and began to fall away. After losing our home twice, having to start over in different countries, I came to realize that God exists, and he knows the trubles and the tribulations that my family was going through. Thanks to Him we were able to start in both occasions with the feeling that everything was going to be OK. I know that Heavenly father and Jesus Christ are in my life and that they care for me and my family. I can't deny the testimony I have and the blessings that I've received.

How I live my faith

Well I'm just like your typical 20+ year old guy. To me the gospel is better taught through actions than words... so I DO! I love to teach the gospel, that is what I'm doing right now. I talk to everyone and anyone I see on the street, as a missionary, thats what we're called to do. But before starting my full-time mission, I was a primary teacher. I taught 7 year olds and taught them the basics of having faith in Jesus Christ. When I get off my mission I plan to be as involved as I can be in the church.
