Hi I'm Andrew

I'm from Moscow Idaho; I love outdoor sports. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to run, bike, swim, and rock climb. I enjoy eclectic hobbies including unicycling, solving Rubik's cube, and some juggling. I have worked for the University of Idaho in the Outdoor dept. and at Washington State University in the Plant Pathology dept. and the Mechanical Engineering dept. I love our aged golden retriever. I've gone to a year of school studying Biology, but I don't know what I'll do with my working life just yet. I love exploring new places and tastes and testing my abilities in most all ways. I grew up in the Gospel raised by loving and righteous parents with good siblings. I love my family and am grateful for the opportunity to forever be in one. I have been taught to seek knowledge, and enjoy learning. There are a lot of things about me that I seek to improve, and I think change is good.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have received many witnesses from God through the Holy Ghost that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is truly His Church. I have read the Book of Mormon many times, prayed to confirm the truthfulness of Joseph Smith's experience, and know in my mind and heart that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ appeared to the young Joseph in response to his search. Christ restored His Church to the earth, including the power and authority of God to act in His behalf. That's why I'm Mormon. I first read the Book of Mormon when I was 15 years old. I prayed to know that it was true. Nothing bad happened, and I was comforted to know that I had been raised in the right way. That was a beginning of my testimony. Through prayer, church, and the scriptures I have diligently sought to know some of the mysteries of God and have been blessed to have received enough for me. I'm Mormon because I know that through the Gospel of Jesus Christ: Faith, Repentance, receiving Baptism and the Holy Ghost, and being Sealed as a family, I can have happiness now and joy in the next life!

How I live my faith

I currently am serving as a missionary in the Maryland, Baltimore Mission. While here I try to bless the lives of all I meet, especially by helping them build Faith in Christ and receiving baptism and the Holy Ghost. Before my mission I helped the missionaries in my ward find people to teach and baptize. I also visited some of my peers often to help them feel loved while we were all at school.
