Hi I'm Berkeley Sirmans

I am Mormon, but not because I was born in the church.

About Me

I am currently serving a full time mission in Salt Lake City, Utah speaking Spanish. This time has been such a blessing in my life as I get to see the Gospel in action in my life and the lives of those I teach. Before my mission I attended Florida State University and am a big football fan. Being a member of the church has brought me such peace and happiness and I desire to share that with everyone

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised Mormon. Church has always been a huge part of my life, and one that I wouldn't trade for anything. The church has taught me how to live better and to have a close relationship with our Heavenly Father and His son Jesus Christ. It prepares me for everything in my life, from being a Boy Scout to being a better future father. I feel God's love when I am reading the Book of Mormon and living by it's teachings.

How I live my faith

I am the first assistant to the Bishop in my ward, and have been class president of the deacons and teachers before. This requires me to plan and lead meetings for the youth and setting a good example for them. I am also an Eagle Scout, which helps me live my faith because serving God is a huge part of Scouting. I am preparing to serve a mission in the near future, and I cannot wait to share the gospel that has brought me so much joy in my life everyday.
