Hi I'm Cami Davis

I'm from Texas. I am a cheerleader. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been born and raised in Texas. I love sports of all kind. I grew up playing volleyball for six years, but switched to cheerleading in eighth grade. I love watching football, basketball, and baseball. I have two brothers and two sisters and i am the fourth of the five children. I currently go to Brigham Young University and am studying Math Education.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the LDS faith my whole life, but my parents have never forced my religion on me. I made my own choice to be baptized, and know it was one of the best decisions i have ever made in my life. Luckily, my parents have strong faith and are great examples to me and I have been able to use their testimony to build my own upon. Like most people, i have had some hard times that have helped me strengthen my testimony and let it flourish. I believe it was when i was about twelve years old that i had a a definite confirmation that this is the true church. I know that i got this confirmation through the Holy Ghost. I know that my Heavenly Father loves me. I have read the Book of Mormon and also know it is true doctrine, and know that the Bible is also true doctrine. I know Joseph Smith was a prophet of God. I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior and that He loves me more than I can comprehend.

How I live my faith

I have been a member of the church my whole life, but it wasn't until i was in high school that I became very involved in my church. In high school, I helped form "Latter-day Saint Student Association" at my high school, and in this club we did a lot of community service to be able to show others and help others understand who we are and what our religion is about. It didn't just help others know us and understand us, but it helped me strengthen my testimony. I also attended an early morning scripture study every school day, and that was a huge blessing in my life. I know the days that i decided to sleep in and not attend this scripture study that those days were not like the rest; things didn't go as they should have. I know that by attending this scripture study, I was able to start off my day right and it helped me start off my day with Heavenly Father right by my side. I have been able to be an example to those around me by living by my faith and am proud to say that most people knew me as "the Mormon" in high school.
