Hi I'm Dorothy

I was raised in a small town. I am the youngest of 10 children. I am now and Grammie and I'm a Mormon

About Me

Being the youngest in a large family I always felt I had the best of all worlds with many brothers and sisters to love and parents seasoned enough in raising children that they seldom got upset. I love nature - birds, gardens, animals and beautiful mountains. I have 5 wonderful children and 10 exceptional grandchildren. I can whistle very loudly, wiggle my ears and I speak Portuguese.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised with the influence of loving parents who took me to church every Sunday. My parents always spoke kindly. It was natural for me to want to be like them. I choose to be a missionary when I was older. It was a defining moment in my life. I realized that to be a member of Christ's Church, I, personally needed to act in a Christ like manner.

How I live my faith

I especially love little children. I feel they love people to call them by their name and acknowledge wonderful things they do. Everyone deserves to be loved. I feel a 'problem child' is simply a child with a problem. I also love to visit others ladies in our church. When I visit people I think it says " you are important". My favorite saying is "It is nice to be important but more important to be nice".
