Hi I'm Ty Gregson

I am a student, a sports fan, an Arkansan and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a small town in Arknsas. I grew up and thought, "This place is small". I wanted to get out and to adventure the world. I had big dreams. I wanted to make a difference. I wanted to do something good. I was blessed to learn good values at home. I learned how to help others in leadership positions at school and on my basketball team. It didn't stop there. I went to college and got involved with doing activities for the school. I learned that you can help others to grow by helping them accomplish their ambitions and desires. I am now back from a mission and I have learned the same principles in a greater sense, making a difference isn't just fulling your dreams it's helping others to fulfill theirs.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was twelve years old I finished the Book of Mormon for the first time. I prayed to know if it was true. I waited a whole week. A WHOLE week. For a twelve year old that is an eternity. I thought that God wasn't going to answer. The Sunday that concluded that week we had a church meeting. At the meeting a came with my question. Is the Book of Mormon true. I sat down ready to listen to the message. When the meeting started my dad got up to give the message. I didn't know my dad was giving the message. Guess what his whole message was on, his testimony of the Book of Mormon. That night I know I felt the spirit testify to me that it was true. I know that God had heard my prayers. I knew that the promise Moroni left was true. The rest of my life in and outside of the church has revolved around this event, God answers prayers. I have had to make decisions such as what sport I should play, where I should go to college, why am I struggling. Each time I get up I know that the answer will come. It my not be in my desired time, but the answer always come and the answer is always right.

How I live my faith

By small and simple things are great things brought to pass. I live my faith by waking up in the morning and exercising, followed by scripture study. I believe this is the best way to prepare myself to live my faith. I am awake and alert for the day both physically and spiritually. I have my head on straight and the Spirit by my side. The rest of the day....come what may and love it!
