Hi I'm Zach Morrell

I grew up in the promise land and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a die hard sports lover, but especially basketball. I have the coolest family in the world and I don't know anyone that has met them that would deny that. If you want a good laugh you have to hangout with the Morrell's. I am the second oldest in my family. I have three sisters and one brother. I have been super lucky to be surrounded by awesome people in my life that have the same standards that I do. Dream job would have to be a broadcaster with ESPN but we will see. I am currently serving a mission in Southern California and its been the best experience of my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born to really good parents who taught us as we grew up. But their comes a time where you can't really rely on your parents testimony anymore and you have to make decisions for yourself. So I looked at what my life would be with and without the gospel and understood that I would be way better off with the standards of the church. I then realized that I had to gain a testimony to give me a better comfirmation that this is the path that I need to take for my life. I did as the Book of Mormon said in Moroni 10:4-5 and I gained a testimony of the Restoration of the Gospel. The blessings of gaining this testimony can help bring some of the biggest blessings in one's life. The Plan of Salvation or really Happiness, is everything to me. It gives us more answers to lifes questions then anything else in life. It helps us to know what our purpose is here on earth and how we can really have happiness here. I am so grateful for these restored truths that have been given to us through the Prophet Joseph Smith.

How I live my faith

I know that these truths have to be shared with the whole world. I have been really fortunate to have the opportunity to serve a mission and to watch people change their lives as the accept the gospel of Jesus Christ. I am grateful that he atoned for us and gave us the chance to change and follow him. I know that no matter what anyone has done in their life, they can change and come closer to Christ in this life. And that is one of the coolest things to be able to teach about. I am planning to serve another mission someday after I finish this one. Its a opportunity of a lifetime to go on one. But I know I have been given so much and because of that I know I have a great responsiblilty to give back so that is what I plan on doing.
