Hi I'm Estee

I'm a wife and mother. I love children. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a 26 year-old wife and mother of two crazy little boys who keep me on my toes. I love photography, cooking, reading and ice cream. I don't like large crowds, being cold or spiders. I miss the mountains every day.

Why I am a Mormon

I've heard gaining a testimony be compared to watching a sunrise and trying to define the exact moment that it is "light." Being raised in the church, I think that my testimony has, for the most part, steadily continued to grow brighter and stronger each day. At fourteen I experienced somewhat of a typical teenage identity crisis, suddenly realizing that I wasn't really sure who I was or who I wanted to be. I knew who I didn't want to be, so for awhile I tried out different friends, interests, looks and personalities, trying to find a fit. Then I really started reading my scriptures and really praying to know the truths that I grew up with. I realized that the friends, interests and looks would change and didn't make me anyone. I am a child of God, and I have a purpose. The rest can change because I know who I am. I found the truth for myself, and I continue to follow Christ's gospel and commandments because I know that I have a purpose and that my Heavenly Father loves me.

How I live my faith

My mom had a sign up in our home that said, "Because Nice Matters." I know that being kind and helping others does matter, and I try to look for ways to help wherever I can. Right now, much of the service that I give is to my family and neighbors.
