Hi I'm Ralph Gamboa

"I am living a living example that people can change. I am a regular human being. And I am a Mormon."

About Me

I was the first member of my family to join. I was an athiest that believed only in myself. I found the lord during the most needed time in my life. I have many other family members in the church now. I am grateful for what I have and accomplished since joining. I love to read, watch seinfeld and watch x-files with my kids and wife.

Why I am a Mormon

My life was in complete disarray. I opened the door to some elders. I talked with them for 2hrs and invited them back again and again. I was challenged to read and did. One day I was at home and just sick of my life and how it was going. I went to my room...it was dark and I was alone. I sat on my bed and prayed with tears in my eyes. I prayed if the book of mormon was true and for help to change my life. I heard this little voice in my head say "everything is going to be alright." I had this sensation come over me. An overwhelming sense of shock. Electric. I went over to my wife hugged her and re-assured her that everything would be alright. The spirit manefested to me that the book was true and I would be alright if I lived my life accordingly. I was inactive at first but when I finally understood the power of the priesthood and the power of the gospel I became active and involved. I have 2 callings right now and have performed 9 baptisms so far. I am proud to serve the lord and do so as much as I can. I have seen many blessings come from the church. I cannot ever leave the church and serve at another knowing what I know. This is the true church restored and I can only serve here. I know this church is true and has the only living prophet in the name of jesus christ. Amen

How I live my faith

I hold 2 callings at church and love them both. I have been sunday school president for like 3yrs and am on the elders quorom presidency. I try as much as I can to serve and to be active. I am an elder and am proud of it. Everyone at church is a missionary so I try hard to home teach or visit investigaters. I am not ashamed to share the gospel so I do slip in an occasional message. I try to live my faith the way christ wants us to. Christ is the perfect example of how we should live so I will try to teach with sincerety like him.

What are Mormon church services like? Are visitors allowed at church meetings? Can I attend church?
