Hi I'm MAP

I'm a native of San Diego. I teach, computers, at a local Univeristy. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

MAP is my initals. I have always been good with directions. I teach at a University here in San Diego. I work in the College of Graduate Studies(the Masters department). I hold a Masters of Science of Information System Management Degree. I teach students how to be managers in the IT world. My favorite subjects are C++(programming), Math, Science, Statistics, Information Security and Emerging Technology. My hobbies are gaming, music (paino and midi), dance (latin ballroom), Sci-Fi movies, soccor, and running (track and field). I ran the 800 and mile relay in High School. I served my Mission in Alaska. There is only one mission in Alaska; it covers the whole state, Yukon, and part of Britsh Columbia. I have always like dogs and other animals so serving in a place where dogs out number humans 5 to 1 was perfect for me. Being a native of San Diego and never seen snow fall until my mission. The thing I missed is the snow falling when driving at night, it is like flying though space. I miss Alaska and would like to visit it again someday.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints my whole life. My parents have given me the roots of a strong testimony and I have developed that into knowledge of my own. I know my Father in Heaven is the Father of us all. He sent his only begotten son to be the savior of the world, Jesus Christ. I know Christ atoned for our sins. I know that God talks though prophets. I know that God sent Joseph Smith to be the Prophet of the restoration. I know the current prophet is Tomas S. Monson. I am a member because I have felt the happiness and love of the Holy Ghost. The Spirit has guided me throughout my life.

How I live my faith

Faith has always driven me. I have the Gift of Faith which means I believe in Truth. I live my Faith in everything I do and say, by being honest, truthful, patient, loving and happy in my every day life. At work I live my faith by being a hard worker. I always try to have my work done on time and complete. In a school Academic Honesty is very important. Academic Honesty is always siting the sources of the information and never taking credit for someone else's work. I live my faith by helping others learn to site the references in their school work.
