Hi I'm Jessica

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Jessica. I have been a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints all my life. I attended Brigham Young University and graduated with a degree in Exercise Science. I married a return missionary in 2008 and have two kids. I love being a mom and spending time with my family. I love taking vacations, eating, and going to the beach. I am attempting to learn Spanish and would love to learn how to play piano and sew!

Why I am a Mormon

Obviously it is easy to say that I am a Mormon because I was born into this faith, but it is not that. I have prayed, fasted, and studied for myself to know the truth of this restored gospel. By first having a desire to know if this church is the only true church was the first step. I read "The Book of Mormon" and prayed to know if the book was true. I continued to fast and search for myself, instead of relying on my parent's testimony. I wanted my own knowledge. Seminary (another term for Bible study) also helped further my knowledge as we studied not only "The Book of Mormon" but the "Bible". I can say for myself that I know this gospel is true!

How I live my faith

I am currently the Primary President in my ward. This is basically an easy way of saying that I teach the children (18 months-12 years) and love it. It has helped me become more patient and understanding. They seem to teach me more life lessons, than I do of sharing the gospel. I love all the kids testimonies of our Savior, Jesus Christ. They teach me constantly how I should act to be more Christ-like and to show more charity.
