Hi I'm Kevin

I am a student. I am a Banker. I am a convert, and you guessed it I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love business and figuring out a budget is what I thrive to do in my life. I live with my brother. We both have busy lives and its not often we are at home at the same time. However, family is the way to go! I am going to school right now for finance and banking. I hope to one day be a C.E.O or President of a small community bank. I love to fish and when I have a moment I jump on my mountain bike to enjoy the down hill rush. Reading is also a hobby that I can't seem to put down. I simple believe life is to short and needs to be lived to its fullest. Every moment of the day I have to be moving forward or doing something.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised with a single mom with eight siblings. Life was not always easy when you don't have a dad around much. He always supported his kids, but do to dynamics we did not cross paths to often until later in life when I moved into his home. My mother taught true principles and helped me believe in God and Christ. However, we never went to church until I move to my dad's home. There I became very active in polygamist church my dad was part of. I loved my dad and my other mother that I lived with for my high school years. When I graduated high school I spent a month in Japan with a "mormon" friend. There in Japan I attended church and was able to more fully understand what the church taught and what they believed. The most fascinating part was the missionaries. I knew what they stood for was right and I to wanted to do as they did. With that I came home with a prayer in my hart and questions that needed to be answered. I did receive an answer to my prayers. I knew I not only needed to join the Church, but that I also should serve a mission. One year later I found my-self serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints.

How I live my faith

I try to live my life as Christ would have me live. Daily prayer and scriptures are essential for me and help me overcome the everyday challenges I face.
