Hi I'm Hannah Wilks

I'm CA grown. I'm forever young. I'm your #1 fan. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I started my crazy adventure in northern California. Born into the greatest family known to man. Literally. My crew is hilarious. Solid parents who raised me right, two older siblings who fought off the wrong. My growing-up years were spent on the sand, on the soccer field, and on dessert duty for Family Home Evening. No complaints. Thanks to the Gospel of Jesus Christ, I learned how to make correct choices. I learned what it means to sacrifice for the greater good. I learned that painful failures bring about beautiful growth. I learned that at the end of the day, all that truly matters is your family. I learned what it means to look at life with an eternal perspective. I thank my Heavenly Father everyday for the knowledge that I have. I'll never be able to repay Him, or His Son, but I can try... I'm currently serving full-time as a missionary in the Florida Orlando Mission for the both of Them. I want others to have what I have. I want them to hear, grasp, understand, and love the truthfulness of the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ. It's everything.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm one of the lucky ones. I was born and raised in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Does that mean my life has always been smooth sailing? Absolutely not. My parents let me make my own choices. They let me discover the straight and narrow path on my own. They let me slip and fall, and instead of patching up my wounds for me, they taught me through the Book of Mormon where to "...look for a remission of [my] sins." (2 Nephi 24:26). They taught me about my Savior Jesus Christ. As I acted on the things that I learned, I quickly realized that having a real, active relationship with my Father in Heaven was the catalyst for my happiness. A certain type of happiness that is found no place else. It's real. It's pure. It's everlasting. So...why am I a Mormon...? Because it fulfills me.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by acting on the things I believe. The more I act, the stronger it gets. The stronger it gets, the more fearless I become. And THAT is a feeling I love.
