Hi I'm Jessie

I am a Marshall's employee, college student, New Englander, fan of sleep and mental health days, but most important, a Mormon.

About Me

I love music! Both playing and listening to it. Honestly, I can not think of a genera of music in which I do not like at least one song or artist. I am from a family of 4 kids and 2 parents. Hiking and skiing equal life, as they do for most New Englanders. Pride is one of my downfalls, as I am very proud of where I am from! But, I love being able to leave the bubble of New Hampshire, and give the Lord a year and a half of my life in service to his children in the Italy Rome mission. After that time, I will return to college for my sophomore year of my history major.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon for one reason. I know that it is true. I know that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is on the earth today. I know that it has brought me such light and happiness, and that it can do the same for everyone. I am a Mormon because I know for myself that it is true, and had have spent long hours on my knees asking the Lord for that knowledge. I know that He will answer any prayer that is asked of Him.

How I live my faith

I live my faith every day. For me, my faith is a major part of who I am. It directs my decisions, and gives me strength when others might feel weak. Do not get me wrong, I am not a nameless and senseless follower of an unknowable deity. I am an individual who knows what I believe, and not what I an told, if that makes sense. My faith is in everything that I do because it is what I believe with all my heart. Because I have knowledge, my purpose is to share it with others through service and missionary work.
