Hi I'm Suzanne

I live in the Colorado Rockies near my family. I am also a two-time cancer survivor. I used to be an outrigger canoe paddler.

About Me

I was born and raised in Toronto. As a widow, I now live on the western slopes of Colorado in the Rockies near some of my family including three, delightful young grandchildren. I have also lived in Hawaii where I was a outrigger canoe paddler for six years, and I am also a two-time cancer survivor.

Why I am a Mormon

I had been raised in another Christian church however, there were some teachings related to the Bible that I didn't understand. It seemed like there was more to it. Then I learned about the Lord's restored church with its additional information and it all makes sense to me, as it all fits together just like an enormous jigsaw puzzle. I love being a church member: my life has changed for the better. I am healthier and happier than I ever was in my life prior to becoming a 'Mormon'. It is comforting that live can be eternal when we follow the teachings of our Savior.

How I live my faith

I am currently teaching lessons to the women of the church and also am helping with members who are having some difficulties participating and attending church. I volunteer locally in the public library with the children's craft program and I also help the teachers in the elementary school. I am trying more and more to be kind and helpful to those I meet. It's important to me to keep moral and ethical standards in all my activities and associations.
