Hi I'm Matt Crumrine

I'm a guy. I have an awesome family! and... I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi! My name is Matt, and I'm 21 years old. I have three older sisters, and they are the coolest people I know, along with my Dad and Mom. I also have a new brother that my parents have adopted, and although I haven't had the opportunity to meet him yet, he seems pretty awesome as well. I attended in Utah for a year, but am currently serving as a full-time missionary in Glendale, California. I am learning Armenian, and absolutely love the people that I have been called to serve. I like to read and do things outdoors. My favorite things to do are boating (slalom skiing, tubing, wake boarding), camping, and hanging out with friends and family. My dreams for the future are first and foremost to have a family of my own, graduate BYU, and then become a US Navy Seal.

Why I am a Mormon

There are a lot of things I could put here, but the two biggest reasons are peace and hope. I see more and more just how confused the world is, and because of the answers that I have found through study and prayer, I realize that this life is short in the grand scheme of God's plan for us. There is no reason to really be sad, angry, or discouraged when we know that God is our father and that He loves us. He sent us His firstborn son, Jesus Christ, to atone for our sins and to pay the price of our mistakes if we will truly repent, change, and try to become better every day. Every thing will be okay, and this is the only church that has the answers that really proves that. I know that since God really does love us, He would give us direction and answers in this life so that we can overcome the pain and sorrow of this world.

How I live my faith

Right now I am a full-time missionary for our church, so right now I live my faith 24/7 by finding those that are looking for answers, and helping them find them for themselves. It is not always easy, but it is always rewarding. The people that I serve have become some of my closest friends, and I love them as my family. It truly is an amazing experience.
