I'm a Filipino. I'm a dancer. I'm a Mormon.
I am a college student. I love swimming, hiking, dancing, singing and other outdoor activities. I love the ocean. I also love making scrap books. I love taking pictures.
Why I am a Mormon
I grew up in the Philippines. I experienced having two religions in my life. I was baptized in both Catholic and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Every Sunday morning I would go with my Dad to the Church of Jesus Christ and in the afternoon with my Mom to a catholic church. Because of this I was confused. My friends and teachers were asking me which one would I choose and I did not know what to say. At the age of 10 my primary teacher in the Church of Jesus Christ challenged me to read from the Book of Mormon and know if it was true. Yes, from that time on I started reading from the Book of Mormon. I felt good but still was not sure it was true. I continued investigating the Church of Jesus Christ. As a kid it was a pain for me because I went to church with my Dad for three hours. I even told my self that if this was not true I do not need to come to church for three hours. I attended seminary classes with my Mormon friends. Later my seminary teacher asked us if we know that Joseph was a true prophet of God. I feel good when we talked about it but i was not sure. Later I realized that I need to pray to know. I remember praying asking God if Joseph was a prophet of God. To make the story short I got an answer. I realized that all the good and peaceful feelings I get from reading the Book of Mormon proves it to be true. I gained a testimony of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. I know that I am the person I am now because of the things I learn from both the Bible and the Book of Mormon. I know that I am a daughter of God and with His help I can do big things.I know that Jesus is my Savior. I pray that one day my whole family will be going to the restored church of Jesus Christ.
How I live my faith
I live my faith by being active in school activities. I also do my best to be an A student despite all the responsibilities I have at home, in school and at church. By being true to myself and others helps me also to live my faith in my Savior Jesus Christ.
