Hi I'm Connor

I'm an actuary from Chicago. I'm an avid sports fan. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in central Utah, but grew up in a suburb of Chicago. I graduated from BYU and now work as a retirement actuary. I served as a full-time missionary in the Texas McAllen Mission—the best mission in the world :) I enjoy playing sports, namely basketball, tennis, volleyball and table tennis. I also play the piano and percussion.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up going to church, and it always made sense. There did come a time though that I couldn't just trust my family or friends, and needed to know for myself that this church is true and that this truly is the gospel of Jesus Christ in its fullness. My answer didn't come from one powerful experience, but has come from the small daily reassurances from the Holy Ghost. There is also no way that I can deny that the Book of Mormon is the word of God, for I have read it multiple times and know that it could not have been written by a young man with almost no education. The Book of Mormon is the word of God and brings everyone closer to Christ as they read it. I have seen the gospel bless my life, the life of my family, and also the lives of the many people I've seen embrace the gospel of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I currently serve as the branch mission leader in the young single adult congregation I attend. As part of this calling, I get the opportunity to more closely work with the missionaries and help teach everyone about the good news of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ.
