Hi I'm Cari

I grew up in Missouri and Arizona. I am a mother of four. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been married for 20 years. We have four children. I am a full time college student. I love to garden and bake. I also enjoy taking pictures, spending time with my family and playing sports.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe that this is the same church organization that Christ organized with his original twelve apostles. This is why it is called the "restored" gospel, because what was lost on earth has been restored again. I know that we have a prophet and apostles today, just as in Bible times. I believe the Bible to be the word of God, along with the Book of Mormon. I know that Christ is my Savior and that I have a Father in Heaven. I am a Mormon because I prayed for myself to know if these things are true, and received the answer that they are.

How I live my faith

Right now I serve in our women's organization. Some of my responsibilities include giving lessons on Sunday, conducting Sunday meetings, ensuring we have people to teach lessons and helping with welfare needs. I also am a visiting teacher; this is where we visit sisters and give them a small lesson, visit with them, and see if there is anything we can help them with. I have also spent many years serving in our youth programs. These are my Sunday responsibilities, but my religion is my life. It helps me gauge how I make decisions every day. I try very hard to pray and read scriptures daily, myself and with our family. I don't go to church and then forget about it till next week, it is a part of me.
