Hi I'm Kevin
I grew up in southern California. I am a scientist. I'm a Mormon.
I am a research scientist that enjoys the challenge of finding simple, useful solutions to technical problems. I am happily married and a father of three beautiful children. I enjoy working with the youth in the capacity of scoutmaster. I enjoy the outdoors both with my family and my scout troop.
Why I am a Mormon
I have been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ do Latter Day Saints all my life. I was taught by my parents the principles of the gospel and have felt in my heart since my earliest recollection that God lives, that His Son Jesus Christ is my Savior and Redeemer, and that the Book of Mormon is the word of God. In my own personal prayers, and experiences throughout my life I continue to receive confirmation from the Holy Ghost that what I was taught by my parents and studied on my own about the restoration of the Gospel thought Joseph Smith is true. Now that I am a husband and father, I strive to live in such away that I can strengthen my family and enjoy all the blessings promised in the scriptures and from the words of the living prophet and apostles.
How I live my faith
In my ward, I serve the youth as the Scoutmaster. I enjoy the challenge of teaching young men how to lead and to work together as a unified group to achieve a common goal. I also volunteer in a professional capacity as a chairman of a committee that plans and organizes monthly evening seminars on topics of interest to the scientific community.
