Hi I'm Shanna.

I am a busy mother of 6 wonderful children, a wife to a great guy, a daughter of God, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and spent most of my childhood in Minnesota. The best memories I have of my childhood are the times we spent together as a family. We enjoyed a lot of camping and four-wheeling trips. I had 3 sisters and 1 brother. We spent a lot of time together. We were a very close family and we still are, even though we are spread out across the country. I am happily married to a great guy who works very hard to provide for me and our 6 children. I have been blessed to be able to stay at home with my children when they were very small. I am greatful for that opportunity to be able to be with them all the time. Now that they are all in school, I have been blessed to find a job that allows me to work and still be home with them in the mornings and after school. I am pretty busy with my family and work, so I don't have a lot of spare time, but in the time that I do find or make, I enjoy creating things. I love the feeling of accomplishment when I finish a project. I really enjoy making things for my family and friends.

Why I am a Mormon

The gospel of Jesus Christ has blessed my life immensely. There are miracles all around us. Being a member of this church has helped me be a better person. It has taught me who I am, where I came from, and where I am going. I love reading the scriptures. Even though they were written so long ago, they stilll apply to us today. I love the fact that we have a living prophet to guide us. I have attened other churchs and while they taught about Christ, I never felt complete there. I feel complete in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith everyday. It is not enough to do it only on Sundays. I work with the children's organization of our church. I help teach them about Jesus Christ and try to let each child know how important they are as an individual. I serve my neighbors and friends. God loves everyone no matter what. My neighbors do not attend church with me, but they are children of God just as I am. My family searches for ways to bless the lives of those around us with service.
