Hi I'm Lindsey.

I was born and raised in California. I moved to Utah were I meet my wonderful husband and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student that is trying to juggle between School, Work and being a newly-wed. It is difficult at times but it has been worth it so far. I love to be out doors in nature, hiking and riding my bike. I love to be with the ones that I love weither it is my family or my friends. I love to do crafts, which included painting, scrapbooking, quilting, card making, and much more. I am the third daughter in my family of four children. I have two older sisters and a younger brother. I love being married, but I love even more that we were able to be sealed in the Temple and to be able to work through this life together to reach our goal: eternal life together as husband and wife.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church; however, I have gained a knowledge for myself that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the true church of Jesus Christ on the Earth today. Through my many life experiences that I have had there's no doubt in my mind that it is the true church. The Spirit that I have felt testifies to me is the biggest contibuter to My Testimony that I have today. Other things that have helped me are my parents, teachings from the prophets, and the Scriptures. Also making the decision to stay worthy to enter the temple so I could receive my endowment and sealing to my sweet hubby. Like all things it was hard at times, but I am so glad that Heavenly Father gave me such a wonderful man to go through life with.

How I live my faith

I live what I believe by doing my daily scripture study and praying daily. I am also active in my ward by going to our many different activities every week. I have been recently called to serve as our local Institute of Religion President. I love my calling. I am given the opportunity everyday to meet new people and help them when ever they may need it. I also visit teach sisters in my Young Single Adult Ward at least once a month and share a gospel message with them. Teaching and Serving them is a great way to help be the Saviors hands, and fulfill his mission to being everyone unto Him. I have also been able to help with "Mormon Helping Hands" by painting and cleaning a local community park.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

No, Mormons help anyone they can no matter the persons beliefs, religious background, ethincity, and etc. Wards and Stakes all over the World do individual service projects, but as a World Wide church we get together as a group the same day to do service all at the same time. We help any where we can that the different cities want us to do and help with. Show more Show less
