Hi I'm Cory

I am a college Student. I have an amazing wife. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the youngest child of four and grew up in Nevada. My family means everything to me. I am recently married and do not have kids yet but I am very excited to raise a beautiful family. I am going to school to become a seminary teacher. I love reading and hanging out with my family. My favorite sport to play is ultimate frisbee.

Why I am a Mormon

There are many reasons why I chose to be a member of this church but mostly it is because I feel that I am doing what I am supposed to be doing and I am where I am supposed to be as I live the principles of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I feel happy and I feel peace in the gospel. I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior and that I am where He wants me to be.

How I live my faith

My favorite part of being a part of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints are the service opportunities. I love being able to help others in any way. Serving a mission for my church was the best way for me to do this. I was able to help with many service projects but more importantly I was able to teach about Jesus Christ.

In whom should we have faith?

The first principle of the gospel is “Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.” Our faith needs to be centered on Jesus Christ. It is through Him that we can change and become a better person. It is through Him that we can find strength in our trials. It is through Him that we can have hope. Faith is an action word. True faith requires works. As we learn of Jesus Christ and his teachings we can show our faith in Him by following His example and obeying His word. Show more Show less
