Hi I'm Riley Lewis

I grew up in Spanish Fork, Utah. My family lives in Hawaii now. I'm seriving a mission in Brazil. I love sports and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a sports fanatic. Although I love BYU sports my horizions are much larger than that. I love the NFL my team is the Philadelphia Eagles. I also really like basketball, baseball, golf, and tennis. Talking about sports and the gospel are two of my favorite things. My dream is to be a sports broadcaster, either announcing sports or anylizing with my own broadcast program. I studied broadcast journalism before my mission and plan on finishing my degree at BYU when I return. I have been blessed with the best family ever and I am so grateful for them and the gospel in my life. I am now serving a mission for the Church in Ribeirao Preto, Brazil.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm Mormon because it makes me happy. Yes my family is Mormon but it is my choice to serve a mission and to be a Mormon. I chose to be a Mormon because I have a testimony the church is true and I love having the spirit in my life. I also love the power of priesthood and I know it really is the power of God. The Book of Mormon is the word of God and I love being able to receive inspiration and revelation through the scriptures and prayer. Most importantly, I know that when I live the teachings of the church that I know are true then I am the most happy. Living the gospel makes me happy.

How I live my faith

Before my mission I was teacher and also a youth advisor in my ward in Hawaii. Now I live my faith by sharing it with others. The Lord has called me to share it with the people of Brazil. There is no better way to live your faith then to give up everything you have and share it with others. I want others to feel the same happiness I do.
