Hi I'm Kimberly Turner

I am a sorority member, a first generation member, and a recent University graduate. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a member of the Phi Sigma Sigma sorority and a past President of Panhellenic Council. I am also the first member of my family to be baptized and I am grateful to say my little sisters followed a year later :) I am an avid reader, and a star trek fan...pretty much a nerd ;) I am a lover of movies, music, and poetry. I am an active member of my Young Single Adult Branch and I am a Gospel Doctrine Teacher of 3 years and a new 2nd Counselor in the Relief Society Presidency and I am LOVING LIFE!!!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the church because two young men (elders) decided to stop at my door and offer the lessons to my grandmother, being curious I sat in and before I knew it I was taking the discussions myself. It was the BEST decision of my life!! I am forever grateful for the service of these missionaries and the ward family that took me in IMMEDIATELY :) I knew I needed something, that something was missing in my life...and I had no idea where to look. I needed something in my life that would be a foundation and a stable constant that I could ALWAYS rely on and the Gospel found me!! I am enduring to the end and its not easy, but I know that every bit of life is worth it. I have struggled, been tried, and fallen many times but I know that the LORD is ALWAYS there to lift me up and carry me when needed. I am grateful for the Savior and his willingness to do me a service I can never repay and I am grateful for his Love and Mercy Everyday!!! :D

How I live my faith

As a member of the Church I am ALWAYS willing to accept any calling or responsibility the Lord has for me and I am grateful to be able to be an instrument in His Hands! I am a Gospel Doctrine Teacher (Sunday School for men and women 18-30yrs old) of 3 years and I am EXCITED to be given the opportunity this years to learn and teach the Book of Mormon!! I am also the new 2nd Counselor in the Relief Society (an assistant to the leader of all the women in our branch)...it has been a short 3 weeks of service and I could not be more grateful!!! I have learned so much and I am grateful for the relationships I have developed and the AMAZING women that I have the opportunity to Love and Serve :) Life is full of opportunities to serve the Lord and as His Disciple I am ALWAYS looking for them :D
