Hi I'm Megan Wynne

I grew up in New Jersey and I am currently a Freshman at Brigham Young University.

About Me

I am currently a freshman in college at Brigham Young University and I love it! I am currently studying psychology. I am a Leukemia survivor and I've been done treatment for over three years! I love dogs, singing, Taylor Swift, and nature! I have four siblings and I am also a twin.

Why I am a Mormon

I was lucky enough to have been born into the LDS Religion. Both of my parents were converts so I was raised in the church. I still had to come to find out for myself if I believed and wanted to live the principles taught by the church. I have come to find out for myself on many occasions and many different times that this is the true church of God and Jesus Christ. I can't think of anything that could bring a person greater joy than to know that you have a Father in Heaven who loves you and knows you individually and wants you to return to live with Him someday. I receive so much comfort in my life through my knowledge of Jesus Christ's Atonement and that He understands everything I'm going through. Turning to Heavenly Father in prayer is also a huge comfort and blessing in this life. Because of this church, I know where I was before this life, why I'm here on earth, and what happens to me when I die. As I live God's commandments, I can see how it blesses my life and expands my agency, not lessens it like some may think. I know this is the true church of Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ and others can know it to through the power of the Holy Ghost who will manifest truth if we seek it diligently.

How I live my faith

In my student ward here at BYU, I am a visiting teaching supervisor. I make sure that the girls I'm over have done their visiting teaching for the month. It's a pretty simple calling. In my ward at home in New Jersey, I was a ward missionary and I was the president over girls ages 16-18 called Laurels. It was a tough but rewarding calling. I also enjoy sharing the gospel through social media.
