Hi I'm Jeremiah Wilson

I'm a Mormon. I have four children. I've been married to my great wife for 15 years. I founded ContactPoint almost 12 years ago.

About Me

I'm a father of 4 children, a husband to a talented wife, I'm a business owner, entrepreneur, marathoner, and passionate about building a strong country by creating strong people.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe I will be on this earth for a limited time (Less than 100 years) and that there is no way for me to know everything about how to live effectively without the guidance of others. I have found the best guidance in the Church of Jesus Christ of Later-day Saints. I find that learning from prophets and apostles in the Holy Bible is invaluable to understand best practices to success. The guidance is timeless. The Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ and furthers my understanding of Christ. In addition, there is a Prophet of God on the earth today to continue providing revelation that helps me personally and that helps my family. I'm a Mormon because I have lived the principles taught in this church and I have found that while life is hard at times, I have a plan that continues to get me through the rough times. I'm happy. I'm fulfilled. I'm able to continue to improve and grow. I'm a Mormon because I love my Savior and Redeemer Jesus Christ and I feel his spirit in this church and in the service I provide to others.

How I live my faith

Living my faith means taking care of others. Christ taught us to serve and I have found many opportunities to serve my neighbors. I regularly visit and consider the needs of three specific families in my neighborhood. This is called Home Teaching. I served on a mission at 19 in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. This experience allowed me to empower many people in a country I have grown to love as my second home. Over the years in the church I have served in many responsibilities. As Elder's Quorum President I was responsible for the needs of the families in my community. Those needs are spiritual as well as temporal. This most often meant helping families move in to or out of their homes. But this also meant being aware of others needs in their home such as helping families through lose of a family member, marital struggles, financial struggles, lose of employment, sickness, injury, etc. These opportunities to serve allowed me to gain a better understanding of the needs of others. Christ taught us to serve God by serving others. This seems to be the best way to live my faith. I have found that helping my children learn these principles is equally important to their success in life. I also focus all my attention on my children's success. I'm always asking myself how I can best help them succeed in life. I work with them in soccer, support their dance classes, make sure they excel in school and most important, provide them with an understanding of how to find peace and comfort through faith in Jesus Christ.
