Hi I'm Quinn

I'm from Heppner, Oregon, which isn't really close to anything. I like all sports. I love my family. I'm a mormon

About Me

Well currently I'm a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. So I don't do anything but find people and invite them to listen to the true gospel of Jesus Christ. But before the mission I loved being with my friends and my family. My friends are the best in the world, and they were always there to help me and have fun together. I love all sports, especially college football. I used to spend every saturday watching it and doing nothing else. I like hunting and fishing with my dad because it's peaceful and away from everything. I love helping others with anything that they are going through, that's why my friends were such a big influence on me, because they did that with me. I'm a pretty big nerd, but that's ok. I like movies a lot even though I can't really watch them. When I'm done with my mission I'm going to go to school and live my life however I decide to. To be honest, I really don't have much of a plan yet.

Why I am a Mormon

Because it's the truth. That's the main reason that I am a mormon. I grew up with good values in the home and great parents who taught me everything that I needed to know, so that when I grew up, I could make the decision to be a part of the church on my own. I have gotten countless spiritual confirmations that this church is God's kingdom on the earth, and it is what I have dedicated my life to. I love helping others, and the church gives me many opportunities to do that. What keeps me going in the gospel is a firm hope and faith that I can one day live with God again, and with my family. This is the only church on the earth that does everything necessary to strengthen it's members, preach the gospel, and redeem those who have died without ever hearing it. Those are requirements, and they are only found here. My testimony of the church didn't come all at once, but it has been refined over time to the point where now it is undeniable. I love this church and this gospel because it has saved my life and given me direction and purpose in countless ways.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith in the way that the Savior taught that I should live it. Through my works. Service to others, loving God, and loving one another. I'm not perfect, but repentance is a gift from God to everyone, and when we are honestly trying to change and get better, He is always waiting there with open arms. I live my faith by messing up and then learning and changing. It's hard some times, but I feel like that is the only way that we can learn some lessons. I live my faith by being full of gratitude to my creator for giving me a wonderful family and wonderful friends. I even have wonderful enemies! Every day is a blessing, and there is no better feeling than dedicating your time to the Lord and His work.
