Hi I'm Jenny

I'm a cosmetologist. I'm going to school to get my Bachelors degree. I'm a proud aunt of 24 nieces and nephews. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Idaho around potatoes, hay, and cows. I was blessed to be able to share my beliefs of Christ with the wonderful people of Maryland for a year and a half. I'm so grateful that I got to serve. I am working now as a hair stylist and it's so fun to talk with many different people and make them beautiful. Right now I'm also going to Brigham Young University-Idaho to get my Bachelors degree in Marriage and Family Studies. I would like to work at an adoption agency when I graduate. I come from a big family where all of my siblings are married (except me) and I have 24 nieces and nephews. It's so fun when we all get together.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because this is Christ's church. I grew up in the church and I've always had a love for my Savior. At one point in my teenage years I was on a youth activity. It was a special time where we talked about the early saints and how much they sacrificed to be members of this church. As I walked away from that experience I felt that there is no way that this church could be false, it has to be true because people would sacrifice so much for something that wasn't true. I know that Jesus Christ lived, He died, and He now lives. I know that He called Joseph Smith to be a prophet to bring back His church. I know that the Book of Mormon is the way that we can know that this is indeed Christ church. I know that I can be with my family forever, that the relationships that we establish on this earth will be the same in the eternities. I know that it is made possible through the priesthood power of God. I've gained my own testimony through years of dedication and prayer. I've received my own witness and I know that all who sincerely pray and ask God if this church is true will also gain that witness for themselves.

How I live my faith

I have the privilege of being the choir pianist in my congregation. I love playing the piano and letting music bring the Spirit into the meetings. I also try to read my scriptures and pray everyday. As I go through the day I try to do the things that Christ would do.
