Hi I'm Keith

I was born and raised in Utah but now live in Missouri. I havent always been active in the church but am now. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a father of three great kids and a husband to a wonderful wife. I work as a forklift driver in a distribution center. I have some college completed but hope to finish my education someday. I am active in the church and currently work with the Boy Scouts. I enjoy spending time with my family. I have learned in life so far that holding close to the Lord is a spiritually safe place to be. I haven't always been active in the church. I am twice divorced and currently in my third marriage. My family growing up was active in the church for a little while and then fell away. My grandmothers were always active and a positive influence. After I grew up, my mother became active in the church which also helped me to come back to church. I began to attend church and learn the gospel more fully around the age of 30. Before that I smoked and drank and wasn't as much as a positive role model for my children. Now I can see the blessings of raising my family in the gospel with the help and love of my Heavenly Father.

Why I am a Mormon

At a point in my life I had been in with the wrong crowd and my life seemed to be falling apart. It was more pain, stress and anguish than I thought I could handle. I found myself all alone, except for.... My Lord, Savior and Redeemer was there for me. I could feel his love penetrate my soul to help bring me hope in my time of need. I knew I could rely on Him. He brought my mother to me who prayed for me constantly and helped me hold to the iron rod. It is from this moment and so many little moments along the way that my testimony in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is built. And when I was having troubles, a servant of the Lord was there. Mostly in the form of Missionaries knocking on my door and the most needed time. Even as I type this, I feel the influence of the Holy Ghost, and the love our Heavenly Father has for all of us.

How I live my faith

I try to invite the spirit into my life. Love my family and my friends.  Handshakes! I find that I shake so many hands in fellowship. I love to see the smiling kind faces as I show up for church every sunday. Church is a time to remember the Lord and what He has done for us. Sometimes I help teach the children in primary. I also get to help out with the Scouting program as a Scoutmaster. We have so much fun as we work toward rank advancements, on merit badges and go camping. I get to help these young men grow into husbands and fathers. Praying with my family, which is such an intimate time for us to bond. We read scriptures almost on a daily basis. We are not so different from other families. But I do try to take council frome religous leaders to help me raise my family in a better way.
