Hi I'm Bruce

I'm a Mormon. I grew up in the church, and am proud to say that my ancestors came around the horn in the 1800's due to their faith

About Me

I am married and the proud father of 4 children and 3.5 grandchildren. I have been involved in the medical device industry most of my adult life. I enjoy the medical business and helping people as much as possible. I love my family and especially being a father and grandfather. I enjoy travelling to different states and countries to have the opportunity to meet new people and cultures. I love sports and especially enjoy scuba diving. During my travels I collect lapel pins and acquired over 400 of them at this point.

Why I am a Mormon

Although I was born into the church, I am a member by choice. My testimony grew as a high schooler, and solidified during my tenure as a missionary in Mexico City. My belief in Jesus Christ and faith in His gospel is what directs my life in all of its aspects. I know that Christ lives, I know that He directs the affairs of His church. I know that He loves His children and cares for them. I know that if I follow the tenants of His gospel and keep HIs commandments, I can return to live with HIm and with my Heavenly Father. I am grateful that I have learned this for myself and had this testimony manifest to me through the spirit of the Holy Ghost.

How I live my faith

I try to demonstrate my faith each day by being a good father and husband. Over the years I have volunteered as a boy scout leader, cub scout leader, as well as being involved with many high school and junior high activites. I have served as a worker, committee chair, and the chairman of many "safe and sober" after prom parties to help young people maintain proper values. I feel that it is imperative that they strive to do these things and attempt to make good choices. I greatly enjoyed the opportunity to serve as a docent for junior high classes as they visited museums. I love working with the youth and attempting to impart good judgement and moral values to them. I believe that that is what being a disciple is all about.
