Hi I'm Don Flitton

I am a husband to a joyful wife and a father of 4 great children. I love sports, and being in the outdoors. And, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband, and father of 4 children and I love to spend time with my family. My greatest joy is spending time with my family and watching them grow and become young adults. I also like to hike and camp in the great outdoors.

Why I am a Mormon

I love being a Mormon because I learn from past and present prophets. This life is hard. And it helps to have a modern-day prophet who receives revelation from God and teaches us what Heavenly Father has revealed to Him for us to use in our day. God loves us and knows each of us individually. So it helps to have a current prophet receiving revelation for what we need to do to be happy at this time.

How I live my faith

Within my congregation I am one of the leaders of the congregation. The Bishop is the leader of our ward (congregation) and I am his assistant. One of my responsibilities is to oversee the youth organizations and help them learn more about Jesus Christ and his gospel. It is fun to watch them embrace the Gospel of Jesus Christ, His ministry, and try to do the things he asked us to do. Like being kind to others and helping those who are in need. I also love to read the scriptures, the Bible and The Book of Mormon. I love to compare the teachings of the prophets within all of the writings and learn more about the teachings of our Heavenly Father and His Son Jesus Christ.
