Hi I'm Andy Cook

I'm from Henderson, NV. I love ice hockey. I love playing guitar and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Henderson, NV. I'm the oldest of a family of three brothers. I'm a huge sports fan. I'll play basically any sport but my favorites are ice hockey and tennis. I love pretty much all LA sports teams like the Lakers, the Dodgers, and especially the Los Angeles Kings. To me there is nothing more entertaining in this life than a good hockey game. When I'm not playing or watching sports, I'm playing guitar or bass. I love good classic rock bands like Boston, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, and the Eagles. I love writing my own music and just playing blues solos on my guitar whenever I have time.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the church by my parents who were sealed for time and all eternity in the Washington D.C. temple. I've seen many blessings that have come from following the gospel such as good health, a strong and happy family, and optimstic view on life. I love sharing the gospel with my friends and I've seen the difference this gospel makes in the lives of those who fully accept it. I know that this gospel is true because I have a really good understanding of life and a really good relationship with my family, my friends, and my Heavenly Father. I know that as long as I keep living the gospel for the rest of my life, I'll always find peace and joy even in the most difficult of times.

How I live my faith

I have always tried to be a good example to my friends and others around me. There many people that know I'm LDS and they completely respect it. I'm currently serving as a Spanish-speaking missionary in the Florida Orlando Mission and it has been an enormous blessing and has had a profound impact on my life. It's incredible to wake up every morning and watch people's lives change for the better thanks to the gospel.
