Hi I'm Rita Shipman

I grew up in Holly Hill, South Carolina. I have a love for God's people and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a Christian home. My parents were United Methodists. I have always had a belief in Jesus Christ as my Savior. My hobbies are reading, crocheting, knitting, drawing and cooking. I am a divorced parent with one adult child. I am taking Spanish classes and learning to play the piano.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe in Christ and I believe Christ. I believe He atoned for my sins and provided a way for me to return to Heavenly Father. I believe in his teachings and ministry. I have found that this church most closely represents his teachings and follows the organization of the church He established during his ministry here on earth. The members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints strive to be like him in their daily activities.

How I live my faith

I attend church regularly. I believe it's important to hear the words of our Savior and reflect on the meaning he has in our lives. I work as a missionary to bring the gospel to people who do not have that in their lives. I want everyone to have what I have.
