Hi I'm David Klc

Hi my name is David and I like to party. put me on any kind of board and I will ride it

About Me

I went to high school and some college so far. I am part of a forever family not only with my father in heaven. but my earthly family as well. I grew up with my father as a lawyer and my mom was always watching the other kids so the only time I had to spend with my dad was by doing construction. it was way fun. I learned so much from him and he taught me like a dad should. this hobby turned into a passion. I took classes in high school on construction. during high school I faced adversity and trials. I made mistakes but construction helped me out because my Teacher helped me out of the hole I had dug. I then made my way to becoming a better person. I love construction but I also love to live. I snowboard, I swim. I go camping. and I love the outdoors. I also love video games, but that's a different story. I am an all around better person today than I was a couple of years ago. I continue to grow and to teach. I love to work and I love being a mormon

Why I am a Mormon

the reason I am a latter day saint is because it is true it comes down to simply that. I look at christ and his life all the things that he did. he served others, he was kind, loving, had a tender heart, he was charitable, diligent, and he loved every one of us, NO MATTER WHO WE ARE. I take his attributes and compare them to the church and of course the church matches it perfectly. the people may make mistakes but we strive hard to develope christlike attributes on a daily basis. of course we all make mistakes but that is why we have repentance... just because it is a good match though does not make it true. it all comes down to prayer. to ask the one person who would know which church is his. to ask god the eternal father if this church is his. I did that and felt the spirit testify to me of it's truthfulness. I felt that warm feeling within my heart and that Is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

today I live my faith in it's fullest. I am doing all I can to be the closest to god. I am reading my scriptures. I am going to church and taking notes. I am praying always. I mean Always. but the most I can do is give him two years hopefully more of my life. right now I am living my faith by serving the lord and bringing his children to come home to him in heaven. I am living my faith to the fullest.

What is the First Vision?

David Klc
Joseph smith grew up in the 1800's where there were so many new and exciting churches coming out and all of the claimed to be true. but which one was true? Joseph smith had this same question so he studied it out. he read the bible and attended multiple churches. but the churches taught one thing and practiced another. one night Joseph was reading in the bible in (James 1:5) and he read if any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of god, that giveth to all men liberally and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. Joseph read this and acted upon it... early one spring morning Joseph set off early and went to a grove of tree's behind his home. he wanted silence so he could hear gods answer. he knelt down and offered a simple prayer asking which church was true. at that moment joseph saw and I quote " I saw a pillar of light exactly over my head, above the brightness of the sun. the light decended gradually until it fell upon me. when it rested upon me I saw two personages, whose brightness and glory defy all description, standing in the air. one of them spake unto me, calling me by name and said, pointing to the other"this is my beloved son hear him"" close quote. god and christ appeared to joseph and told him that none were correct because none of them were christs church. he was then instructed to restore the church on the earth with apostles and prophets. under the direction of god. Joseph smith recieved an answer and you can too, if you pray with real intent. Show more Show less

What do Mormons believe is the purpose of life?

David Klc
our purpose here is to gain experience that will help us to become like our father in heaven. to gain experience, we need the ability to choose good from evil. and the way we choose good from evil is in mortality and to have mortality we need to first have a body which is our mortal body. in these mortal bodies we are tested and have the ability to choose such things as a family, and the choices we make. these were all things why we are here on this earth for. to gain a body so that we can make choices and form a family to become like our father in heaven. this is the purpose of our life here on earth Show more Show less

What are Mormon women like? Do Mormons believe in equality of men and women?

David Klc
mormon women are great. they don't look at the world the same way everybody else does. when you see a mormon woman she has standards. she has a role to play. and she is family oriented. I don't mean to sound sexist but that's the way it is. women have a role as a mother if possible and they are loving, and kind hearted. they help men when we need help which is a lot. men would be lost without women and women would likewise be lost without men. we are equal just in different ways Show more Show less

Why are only some Mormons allowed into temples? Is there something secret going on in Mormon Temples? What goes on in Mormon Temples?

David Klc
there is no secret to what goes on in the temple. we share it with others what we do. we perform sacred ordinances such as sealing families together, doing baptisms for the dead, and learning eternal truths. the reason why only some mormons are allowed in the temple is because no unclean thing can enter into the kingdom of god. the temple is a house of the lord. dedicated to him. you must be clean both physically and spiritually to enter into the temple. and to do that you need to be baptised by the priesthood authority. we want to respect gods house by being clean when we enter into the temple and that is why only some mormons are allowed into temples. anybody can enter as long as they are clean both spiritually and physically. and have a temple recommend Show more Show less

What do Mormons believe about family?

David Klc
we believe that family... is sacred. that it is between a man and a women for marriage and that that marriage will eventually turn into a family. that we should love our kids and teach them correct principles. that in the family we grow spiritually together and that this bond. this unit we all share is sacred and very important. I believe that family should and will always come first. when we learn as a family we grow as a family. I believe that before anything in the world we need to put family there. god sent us here to love one another. to have families. and maybe.. just maybe. we will recieve a glimpse of how much he loves us. about how much he is willing to do to help us return to live with him as a family one day Show more Show less

Why do Mormon missionaries proselyte?

David Klc
a. we don't proselyte. we find the people that the lord has prepared. we know that the lord has his hand in everything we do. and b. we never go out randomly. what we do is we take time before we go out and pray with all our hearts for inspiration on where to go. on where god has children waiting for us to help them receive the blessings which he has for us.
