Hi I'm Joshua Cash Evans

I love to help people push their broken-down cars to safety, to give low-fives, and serving other people. And, I'm A Mormon.

About Me

I love to be around people, my family and friends especially. I love to say stupid pick-up lines and puns. I also like to trash-talk (not in a rude way) to people I know that they are better than me at things (video games, sports, life, etc.); it's fun. I caught all 493 pokemon legitly on Pokemon Heartgold. I love most all sports. I use to want to play college basketball at Duke, until I stopped growing... I played Varsity Volleyball in High School. I am the youngest of my siblings. I love to sing in a choir, but I don't like to sing solos. I can play piano and ukulele. I also enjoy pulling weeds, learning new facts, and giving people low fives. I aspire to become a Radiologist, and have a family of my own. :) I know a lot about superheroes, so if you have any questions, you can ask me, I love to share my thoughts. The Flash is my favorite superhero!! He is the man! I have a comic-book idea that I would love to publish one day. I absolutely love being able to make people smile, and being able to serve others. Being with my friends and family would be how I would choose to spend my day!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have gained my own testimony of the truthfulness of this Gospel. My family are members, but are not active. But I have personally seen how this Gospel blessed not only me, but my love ones around me. I use to be inactive while as a teenager, but after going to different christian churches with some friends, I had the desire to actually know if Mormonism is correct. Well, one of my close friend invited me to go to church to support my other friend who was going on his mission. So I went to support my friend, and I felt the Spirit stronger than ever. At that point, I buckled down and actually started reading and praying about the Book of Mormon. Of course I had to put forth my effort to find out if it was true or not, so I started going to church. For awhile even while reading, praying and going to Church, I didn't get my answer right away, but sure enough Heavenly Father works in his own way. I did indeed get my answer that this Gospel is true. And I can't deny my answer I've received from Heavenly Father. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is true.

How I live my faith

I am called in a position to help those who are called as full-time representatives to invite all to come unto Christ by helping them receive the everlasting gospel. I am engaged to do all I can to just help people uplift their spirits and strengthen their testimony. I love it.

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

Joshua Cash Evans
No, missions are an act of voluntary service. Those who choose to serve missions are out serving because they love the Lord, and want to share His restored gospel with all those they meet. They leave home, love ones, schooling, jobs, just for each and everyone of you, member or not. Know that when you see a missionary, they love you. Show more Show less

Is it true that Jesus appeared in North America after his crucifixion and resurrection according to the Book of Mormon?

Joshua Cash Evans
Yes, and the Book of Mormon testifies of that. Read it, ponder it, and pray about it. And I promise you that you'll come to know that what the Book of Mormon teaches are true. Show more Show less
