Hi I'm Paul

I'm a father, I'm a husband, I'm an audiologist, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love life, because in it I have a beautiful wife, six loud and adorable children, and faith in merciful God. I love watching my garden grow, especially my herbs. I love cooking and discovering flavor. I love reading almost anything but romance. I love writing, painting, music, or anything else I can create. I love tying flies and watching them unravel as I attempt to fly fish. I am an audiologist. And I am a student of history.

Why I am a Mormon

My faith in Jesus Christ is central to everything I am. For me, it is my life. It keeps me anchored in solid ground and helps me keep balance to my life. As I have lived my faith, I have had experiences that rooted my faith in Christ, that he lives and has established his Church and priesthood in our day. I know that Jesus Christ is our Redeemer and Savior. I have no doubts that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God and that the Book of Mormon is another scriptural testament of the Savior, Jesus Christ. I have seen God's power change people's lives. I have watched His atonement heal broken hearts. I have heard the voice of His living prophets. And I have prayed and received my answer. This church is true.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be better today than I was yesterday. Life is a journey that is taken one step at a time. I start each day with prayer and study of the scriptures. These are as vital to my spiritual growth as food and water is to my body. I show my faith by serving others. I also serve in the Church, where I have the opportunity to work with the missionaries in teaching and encouraging others with the gospel message. Some of the greatest joys in my life have come through watching others accept the gospel of Jesus Christ and change their lives and their habits for the better.
