Hi I'm Janice Ann Davis

I was born a member of the Mormon church. It's helped me live a happy life and raise 4 children. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I graduated from BYU in Elementary Education. I taught 1st and 2nd grade for 30 years. I raised 4 wonderful children who are now raising my 11 grandchildren. After I retired I started quilting. I'm making quilts for each of my grandchildren for when they are married. I'm working on my 5th quilt. I also made a gorgeous quilt called Hopi Basket that I use on my bed. My husband and I are now serving a mission for the Mormon Church. We work in the office of the New Hampshire Manchester Mission. It is so fun working with 150 Young missionaaries and helping them with their needs. We love living in New Hampshire. It's the first time we've lived in New England. The people are very humble and down to earth. I love relating to them and sharing ideas about our church with them. I'm proud to bes a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

It is a wonderful way to live. When you read the Book of Mormon it promises if you live God's Commandments you will be blessed. Our family has been very blessed. I also want to live with my family for eternity. My husband and I were maaried in the Salt Lake Temple 47 years ago and through the sealing power our children will live with us forever if they live righteously. I can think of no better reason to belong to the Mormon Church than to be sealed together as a family forever. The Church also encourages us to come to know Christ. Through reading the scriptures and prayer I feel I can talk to my Heavenly father each day and share my life with Him. I know that Jesus Christ loves each one of us and wants us to return and live with Him forever.

How I live my faith

I try to be kind to everyone I meet and say good things about those I come in contact with. I try to show gratitude for all the wonderfulthings God has given us. I try to keep the Sabbath Day holy by attending Church and not going shopping or to community events. I try to enjoy our wonderful world and stay in touch with my family.
