Hi I'm Matt

I'm a student and a friend. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently a student a BYU in Utah. I am studying economics. I have always enjoyed being a student and love playing sports as well. I moved around a lot growing up and as such am not afraid to travel and see the world. I love to read. I love spending time with my friends and my family. I'm just glad to be alive and to live life with all of its many blessings.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of three main reasons (there are others:). 1. The peace, happiness, and joy that comes from living the gospel. There are a lot of things to be concerned about growing up and if there has been one thing that has been constant and is always a source of comfort, it has been the gospel. 2. The clarity of its doctrine. I have always grown up being a Mormon, but the doctrine of the Restoration and the reason why there are many churches just make sense to me. 3. My family and the Book of Mormon. These are two things that bring happiness to my life. I am glad to have a great family and that family life has been enhanced by being built on gospel principles. The Book of Mormon is my favorite book; like an old friend who you can always turn to, it has always been there for me.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be nice to everyone I know and to make sure that my interactions with others are a positive experience for everyone involved. I also try to do my part in my ward, school, work, and elsewhere. I just want others to have a happy life as well.
