Hi I'm Meghan

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife to a man who brings me joy daily. I have an Associate's degree in Deaf Studies and am currently working towards my Bachelor's degree. I have a passion for American Sign Language and dream of teaching deaf children in my own classroom someday. I am currently working at a law firm and feel grateful to have a job I love going to. I have a new found obsession for crocheting and am always seeking out new ideas and designs. I love running, golfing, crafting, eating ice cream and baked goods, time with my family, and sunshine. I can't wait to be a mother and look forward with excitement to the day!

Why I am a Mormon

I have a testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It is the reason behind everything I do and strive to become. It is the foundation for my decisions, actions, standards, and joy. I know that because of the knowledge I have been given, I can live with my Heavenly parents again and be with the ones I love for eternity. I know that God gives us gifts on this earth for a specific purpose and because He loves us. We are each blessed with inward gifts as well as physical and spiritual gifts. He has blessed us with tools and ways to learn of Him and live like Him. He is the means to true happiness. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the most true church on the earth. I know that it was restored by a loving and revelatory man, Joseph Smith, whose relationship with God is one I admire. I am blessed by his testimony daily and am grateful that at a young age he asked of God. I know that he saw God the Father and Jesus Christ in the sacred grove and through that experience, the restoration happened. I know that Thomas S. Monson is a prophet, seer, and revelator. I am grateful that we have true and living prophets on the earth today who still communicate with God on a regular basis. It is a blessing to have a man, set apart by God, to do His work and to be a messenger to me. I know that we are not alone on this earth. I know that God is constantly guiding us and moving the pieces to where we need to be and when. “God is mindful of every people, whatsoever land they may be in” (Alma 26:37). I know that His hand is in my life and He is cheering me on daily. I feel His love. I know that Jesus Christ sacrificed everything for each one of us and because of His atoning power and love, we too can be saved. It is a miracle. My heart is full when I reflect on the life of Jesus Christ and His selfless works. “For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth” (Job 19:25).

How I live my faith

I find that when I am living my faith and it's not merely a part of my life, but it IS my life, that I am the most happy. I believe the key to life is LIVING your faith. I live my faith by always remembering who to give credit to, for all that I am and can be. When I keep His commandments and work daily at growing my relationship with my Savior Jesus Christ, I know He will help me in every aspect of my life. My husband and I currently teach Sunday school to the youth and it has been an experience I will always cherish. I have learned from this experience that if I expect them to do things and want them to grow and learn, I must be too. I must be doing everything I want so badly for them. It has been wonderful preparation to be a mother, you must live what you preach and desire. I try to always live with gratitude and a prayer in my heart. I try to always remember my end goals and who I want to be and how to accomplish becoming that person. I know that God will guide my future and I am certain that it will be one of great joy and richness in blessings. "When we put God first, all other things fall into their proper place or drop out of our lives. Our love of the Lord will govern the claims for our affection, the demands of our time, the interests we pursue, and the order of our priorities. We should put God ahead of everyone else in our lives." -Ezra Taft Benson
