Hi I'm Caitlyn

I grew up in Pittsburgh. I went to culinary school. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in the church although my dad isn't a member. I grew up loving going to church and the activites. I love to read, I can go through many books in a week. I love my family and hope to someday have one of my own. I went to culinary school for pastry and baking. I couldn't image doing anything else for my career. I hope to find a job that allows me to explore my creative side.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church but that doesn't mean I always had a strong testimony of the church. My testimony came as I read the scriptures, esp. the Book of Mormon, as I prayed and as I went to church. I know that without those things in my life I wouldn't be where I am now. The gospel has helped me so much in my life and I will ever be grateful to those Sister Missionaries in Pittsburgh and those members in my single branch in Virginia. With them I was able to realize the importance of the gospel in my life. I know this church is true, I know God is our loving Heavenly Father and that he wants to guide us and because of that he has called a living prophet today, Thomas S. Monson. I know that as I keep the commandments I will blessed, I have seen that in my life. I know that Joseph Smith was called as a prophet to restore the true gospel and church back to the earth. I am grateful that I am able to know these things for myself. I say (type) these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by striving to do my best everyday and striving to be better than yesterday. Currently I am the gospel principles teacher in my singles branch. I love it it allows me to learn more about the basic principles and help others learn about them as well. I also go out with the sister missionaries.
