Hi I'm Seth Edwards

I love rock climbing. I go to Utah State University. I'm a missionary, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Seth. I served a mission in the South Dakota Rapid City Mission. I'm currently attending Utah State University studying finance, economics, and accounting. I enjoy rock climbing, running, and being outdoors-especially in the mountains or by a lake. I love my family. I have a wonderful mother, a stepdad, and 3 younger brothers. Every moment is a gift!

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the Church, but I definitely had to have a conversion of my own. My father passed away when I was 16 years old and at that point I started doubting everything I had been taught in my life up to that point. I didn't believe that God loved me or that He cared, and I fought Him in my heart and made some stupid decisions. With time, I fell pretty far and just wanted to move away from Utah and live my sinful "fun" life. But I was sick of feeling guilty for the decisions I was making and so I decided to give the Church and God one more chance, so that I could know that it wasn't true and could live my life. I read the Book of Mormon in a week with my best friend and prayed after I had finished and asked God if the Book was true and if he wanted me to serve a mission. I found out for myself that God did love me and that He cared and that this is His restored church on the earth-with the same organization and the same authority that He set up when He was on the earth. I cleaned up my act and the Savior's infinite mercy and grace rescued me from darkness. I love my life! :)

How I live my faith

I love my Savior. He is so merciful! I know that he gives us as many chances as we need to come back to Him. I love reading from the scriptures-particulary the Book of Mormon and the New Testament. I have many weaknesses but I testify that the our Savior Jesus Christ will change us into someone far better than we ever could become by ourselves as we give our lives to Him.
